April 8, 2025: St. Helens, OR 97051 St. Helens Lions (St. Helens, OR) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Tillamook Cheesemakers (Tillamook, OR), 7-6 in a league match.
With the triumph, St. Helens advances its record to 4-4 on the season. The Lions travel to Scappoose (Scappoose, OR) to battle the Indians in a 4A Cowapa match on Thursday, April 10. The Indians come into the match with a record of 7-3. Scappoose won 9-0 in their recent non-league match against Junction City (Junction City, OR)
The Cheesemakers now have a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Astoria for a 4A Cowapa match on Friday, April 11. Tillamook will battle a Fishermen squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Banks (Banks, OR). The Fishermen record now stands at 3-5.
