In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Largo Packers baseball team scored a close 9-5 victory over the Anclote Sharks.

The Packers (16-7) will now prepare for their battle against Shorecrest Prep (St. Petersburg, FL). The Chargers enter the non-league battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Shorecrest Prep was overwhelmed by Northside Christian (St. Petersburg, FL), 7-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Sharks face the Tarpon Springs Spongers (Tarpon Springs, FL) in a 3A District 10 battle, on Thursday, April 10. Anclote will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record. The Spongers enter the battle with a 10-14 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Clearwater (Clearwater, FL).
