Louisiana High School Softball - St. Charles Catholic gets by Albany
April 10, 2025: Albany, LA 70711 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) and the host Albany Hornets (Albany, LA), observed St. Charles Catholic's softball team get by Albany by a tally of 15-14.
The Comets (21-7) will now prepare for their bout against Acadiana (Lafayette, LA). The Rams go into the non-league bout with a 16-11 record. In their last bout, Acadiana tipped Jennings (Jennings, LA), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 14. Albany will attempt to advance on its 14-14 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 9-14 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA).
