The Andrean Fighting 59ers softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Lowell Red Devils to 4 in the Fighting 59ers league win on Thursday.

The Fighting 59ers now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hanover Central for a Northwest Crossroads battle on Monday, April 14. Andrean will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 6-5 league win over Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Lowell moves to 0-1 on the season. The Red devils host Highland (Highland, IN) to confront the Trojans in a Northwest Crossroads battle on Monday, April 14. The Trojans come into the battle with a record of 4-1. Highland won 7-5 in their recent non-league battle against Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN)
