Maryland High School Softball - Long Reach bounces Hammond
April 10, 2025: Columbia, MD 21046 In Thursday's league match, the visiting Long Reach Lightning softball team scored a nice 11-2 victory over the Hammond Golden Bears.
The Lightning (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Howard (Ellicott City, MD). The Lions go into the Howard County match with a 6-1 record.
In their next game, the Golden Bears battle the Mt. Hebron Vikings (Ellicott City, MD) in a Howard County match, on Tuesday, April 22. Hammond will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Vikings go into the match with a 7-1 record after their 11-1 league win over Atholton (Columbia, MD).
