The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) and the visiting Northern Patriots (Owings, MD), observed Huntingtown's softball team notch a victory over Northern by a final score of 9-0.

The Hurricanes (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against McDonough (Pomfret, MD). The Rams go into the Southern Maryland bout with a 2-6 record.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) in a Southern Maryland bout, on Monday, April 14. Northern will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record.
