The Rossville Hornets (Rossville, IN) baseball trounced the host Northwestern Tigers (Kokomo, IN), 8-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rochester for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 12. Rossville will clash with a Zebras team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Glenn (Walkerton, IN). The Zebras record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, Northwestern drops to 3-1 on the year. The Tigers host Tri-Central (Sharpsville, IN) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
