Arizona High School Volleyball - Corona del Sol over Liberty

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Corona del Sol Aztecs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Liberty Lions.

The Aztecs (7-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ). The Thunder come into the 6A Central challenge with a 13-17 record. In their last challenge, Desert Vista lost by Brophy College Prep (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions play the Boulder Creek Jaguars (Anthem, AZ) in a 6A Desert Valley challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ).
