Sherman Tide (Seth, WV) supporters left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV), 3-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Sherman improves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Tide travel to Tolsia (Fort Gay, WV) to play the Rebels in a non-league game on Saturday, April 12. The Rebels enter the game with a record of 5-4. Tolsia won 6-2 in their recent non-league game against St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV)

The Patriots now hold a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Cross Lanes Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 12. Midland Trail will face a Warriors squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to South Charleston (South Charleston, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.
