The Kiski Area Cavaliers baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Gateway Gators to 1 in the Cavaliers non-league win on Saturday.

The Cavaliers now own a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Armstrong for a WPIAL 4A 4 test on Monday, April 14. Kiski Area will clash with a River Hawks team coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Gateway (Monroeville, PA). The River Hawks record now stands at 4-6.

With the defeat, Gateway drops to 6-4 on the year. The Gators host Baldwin (Pittsburgh, PA) to clash with the Highlanders in a WPIAL 5A 4 test on Monday, April 14.
