In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles softball team scored a nice 17-7 victory over the Monroe Central Golden Bears.

The Golden Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Randolph Southern (Lynn, IN). The Rebels go into the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Randolph Southern was routed by Tri (Straughn, IN), 22-8, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Golden Bears battle the Shenandoah Raiders (Middletown, IN) in a Mid-Eastern match, on Tuesday, April 15. Monroe Central will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Raiders go into the match with a 1-0 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN).
