The Downingtown East Cougars (Exton, PA) baseball trounced the host Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA), 14-0 in Monday's league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kennett for a Ches-Mont challenge on Wednesday, April 16. Downingtown East will clash with a Blue Demons team coming off a 9-5 league win over East (West Chester, PA). The Blue Demons record now stands at 4-7.

With the defeat, Sun Valley drops to 0-8 on the year. The Vanguards travel to Oxford (Oxford, PA) to clash with the Hornets in a Ches-Mont challenge on Tuesday, April 15.
