Downingtown East Cougars (Exton, PA) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Downingtown West Whippets (Downingtown, PA), 10-8 in a league match.

With the triumph, Downingtown East advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Cougars host Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA) to battle the Golden Knights in a Ches-Mont match on Friday, March 28. The Golden Knights come into the match with a record of 1-1.

The Whippets now have a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Shanahan for a Ches-Mont match on Monday, March 31. Downingtown West will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Unionville (Kennett Square, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
