In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Downingtown East Cougars baseball team scored a close 8-3 win over the Avon Grove Red Devils.

The Cougars (9-6) will now prepare for their game against Downingtown West (Downingtown, PA). The Whippets go into the Ches-Mont game with a 4-11 record. In their last game, Downingtown West was overwhelmed by Henderson (West Chester, PA), 6-4, in a league game.
