April 14, 2025: Pontiac, MI 48340 Fans at Monday's league contest between the University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) and the host Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish (Pontiac, MI), witnessed University Liggett's lacrosse squad gain a win over Notre Dame Prep by a count of 8-5.
The Knights (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Central Catholic (Toledo, OH). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Central Catholic nipped St. Catherine of Siena Academy (Wixom, MI), 21-8, in a league contest.
Next, the Fighting Irish meet the Troy Colts (Troy, MI) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 30. Notre Dame Prep will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record.
