Michigan High School Lacrosse - Notre Dame Prep drops to Academy of the Sacred Heart
April 7, 2025: Pontiac, MI 48340 Academy of the Sacred Heart Gazelles (Bloomfield Hills, MI) backers exited the stadium satisfied Monday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the host Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish (Pontiac, MI), 13-6 in a league game.
With the victory, Academy of the Sacred Heart improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Gazelles host University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) to play the Knights in a Division 2 Region 7 game on Wednesday, April 9. The Knights come into the game with a record of 1-0. University Liggett won 19-6 in their recent non-league game against St. Catherine of Siena Academy (Wixom, MI)
The Fighting Irish now have a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cranbrook Kingswood for a Division 2 Region 7 game on Friday, April 11. Notre Dame Prep will play a Cranes team coming off a 16-15 league loss to Notre Dame Academy (Toledo, OH). The Cranes record now stands at 0-3.
