Fans at Saturday's league contest between the University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) and the visiting Academy of the Sacred Heart Gazelles (Bloomfield Hills, MI), witnessed University Liggett's lacrosse squad hold off Academy of the Sacred Heart by a score of 12-11.

The Knights (11-0) will now prepare for their contest against Seaholm (Birmingham, MI). The Maples enter the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Seaholm was nipped by South Lyon (South Lyon, MI), 15-7, in a non-league contest.
