Michigan High School Lacrosse - Marian overwhelms Academy of the Sacred Heart
April 5, 2025: Bloomfield Hills, MI 48301 The Marian Mustangs lacrosse squad scored 18 points and limited the visiting Academy of the Sacred Heart Gazelles to 9 in the Mustangs league triumph on Saturday.
The Mustangs now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mercy for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 7. Marian will clash with a Marlins squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Hartland (Hartland, MI). The Marlins record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Academy of the Sacred Heart falls to 1-1 on the year. The Gazelles travel to Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI) to clash with the Fighting Irish in a Division 2 Region 7 challenge on Monday, April 7. The Fighting Irish go into the challenge with a record of 1-3.
