Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ), 11-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Highland improves its record to 15-9 on the year. The Hawks host Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ) to play the Jaguars in a 6A Fiesta game on Thursday, April 17. The Jaguars enter the game with a record of 16-8. Desert Ridge lost 11-0 in their recent non-league game against Xavier College Prep (Phoenix, AZ)
