The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) and the visiting Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ), observed Highland's softball team get by Desert Ridge by a final score of 11-7.

The Hawks (16-9) will now prepare for their bout against Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ). The Tigers go into the 6A Fiesta bout with a 9-12 record. In their last bout, Gilbert was routed by Higley (Gilbert, AZ), 12-9, in a league bout.
