Colorado High School Lacrosse - Smoky Hill drops to Cheyenne Mountain
April 15, 2025: Aurora, CO 80015 Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) followers exited the stadium satisfied Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the host Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO), 21-3 in a league game.
With the victory, Cheyenne Mountain advances its record to 3-7 on the season. The Red-Tailed Hawks travel to Lutheran (Parker, CO) to play the Lions in a 4A Southern game on Thursday, April 17. The Lions come into the game with a record of 6-5. Lutheran won 1-0 in their recent league game against Fountain Valley (Colorado Springs, CO)
The Buffaloes now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rangeview for a 4A Southern game on Friday, April 18. Smoky Hill will play a Raiders team coming off a 25-4 league loss to Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO). The Raiders record now stands at 3-5.
