The MacArthur Generals baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Springfield Southeast Spartans to 3 in the Generals league win on Thursday.

The Generals now hold a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Paso-Gridley for a non-league test on Friday, April 17. MacArthur will play a Titans team coming off a 8-4 league win over Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley (Gibson City, IL). The Titans record now stands at 4-6.

With the defeat, Springfield Southeast drops to 2-11 on the year. The Spartans host Lutheran (Springfield, IL) to play the Crusaders in a non-league test on Monday, April 20.
