The Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Green Hope Falcons (Cary, NC), 13-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they host Holly Springs for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Apex will clash with a Golden Hawks team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 11-3.

With the defeat, Green Hope drops to 6-11 on the year. The Falcons travel to Cary (Cary, NC) to clash with the Imps in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Imps go into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Cary lost 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Apex Friendship (Apex, NC)
