The North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) baseball trounced the visiting Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA), 11-1 in Thursday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Raiders encounter the Highland Hawks (Warrenton, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 19. North Cross will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Hawks come into the contest with a 13-3 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Landon (Bethesda, MD).
