North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA), 5-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, North Cross upgrades its record to 10-11 on the season. The Raiders travel to Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA) to battle the Bishops in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 8. The Bishops come into the test with a record of 16-5. Virginia Episcopal School won 15-1 in their recent non-league test against Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA)

With the defeat, Carlisle falls to 5-7 on the season.
