Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Virginia Episcopal School upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Bishops host Life Christian Academy (Chester, VA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, April 27. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-12. Life Christian Academy lost 8-4 in their recent non-league test against Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, VA)

With the defeat, North Cross falls to 6-9 on the season. The Raiders travel to Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA) to battle the Flames in a VISAA Virginia Independent test on Friday, April 26. The Flames come into the test with a record of 2-6. Eastern Mennonite lost 17-0 in their recent league test against The Covenant (Charlottesville, VA)
