New York High School Softball - Chittenango bounces Phoenix
April 20, 2023: Chittenango, NY 13037 Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Chittenango Bears (Chittenango, NY) and the visiting Phoenix Firebirds (Phoenix, NY), witnessed Chittenango's softball squad prevail over Phoenix by a count of 15-0.
The Bears now sport a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Central Square for a non-league match on Friday, April 21. Chittenango will face a Redhawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Marcellus (Marcellus, NY). The Redhawks record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Phoenix moves to 0-3 on the season. The Firebirds travel to Altmar-Parish-Williamstown (Parish, NY) to face the Rebels in a non-league match on Friday, April 28. The Rebels go into the match with a record of 4-1. Altmar-Parish-Williamstown lost 5-3 in their recent league match against Onondaga (Nedrow, NY)
