New Jersey High School Softball - Bergenfield bounces Secaucus
April 20, 2024: Bergenfield, NJ 07621 Bergenfield Bears (Bergenfield, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Secaucus Patriots (Secaucus, NJ), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Bears now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Westwood for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. Bergenfield will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 14-13 league loss to Pascack Hills (Montvale, NJ). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Secaucus falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Patriots host Weehawken (Weehawken, NJ) to battle the Indians in a NJIC - National challenge on Monday, April 22. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 9-0. Weehawken won 9-1 in their recent league challenge against North Arlington (North Arlington, NJ)
