New Jersey High School Softball - St. Mary gets by Bergenfield
April 27, 2024: Rutherford, NJ 07070 The St. Mary Gaels (Rutherford, NJ) softball nipped the visiting Bergenfield Bears (Bergenfield, NJ), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Gaels (8-2) will now prepare for their bout against Lyndhurst (Lyndhurst, NJ). The Golden Bears go into the NJIC - National bout with a 2-10 record. In their last bout, Lyndhurst was edged by Rutherford (Rutherford, NJ), 10-0, in a league bout.
The Bears now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Academy of the Holy Angels for a non-league bout on Monday, April 29.
