Maine High School Softball - Brewer holds off Edward Little
April 21, 2023: Brewer, ME 04412 Brewer Witches (Brewer, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME), 11-9 in a league challenge.
The Witches now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Camden Hills for a Class A North challenge on Monday, April 24. Brewer will battle a Windjammers squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME). The Windjammers record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Edward Little falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Red eddies travel to Gardiner (Gardiner, ME) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Gardiner won 19-0 in their recent league challenge against Erskine Academy (South China, ME)
