In Monday's league match, the visiting Prospect Knights softball team scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Rolling Meadows Mustangs.

The Knights (13-2) will now prepare for their match against Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL). The Bison enter the Mid-Suburban East game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Buffalo Grove nudged Wheeling (Wheeling, IL), 5-0, in a league game.
