Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL), 7-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Wheeling improves its record to 8-15 on the year. The Wildcats host Waukegan (Waukegan, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Monday, May 26. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 1-20. Waukegan lost 17-2 in their recent league game against Mundelein (Mundelein, IL)

The Mustangs now hold a 9-20 record. They play next when they travel to Glenbrook South for a non-league game on Friday, May 23.
