Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), 5-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, Cowan advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Blackhawks host Knightstown (Knightstown, IN) to battle the Panthers in a non-league match on Thursday, April 24. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 7-1. Knightstown lost 9-2 in their recent non-league match against Alexandria-Monroe (Alexandria, IN)

The Golden Bears now have a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wes-Del for a Mid-Eastern match on Thursday, April 24. Monroe Central will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Union City (Union City, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 3-5.
