The Fishburne Military Caissons (Waynesboro, VA) baseball trounced the visiting Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA), 11-4 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Caissons now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host The Covenant for a VISAA Virginia Independent challenge on Saturday, April 26.

With the defeat, Eastern Mennonite drops to 2-6 on the year. The Flames host Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA) to clash with the Bishops in a VISAA Virginia Independent challenge on Wednesday, April 23. The Bishops go into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Virginia Episcopal School won 7-1 in their recent league challenge against Carlisle (Axton, VA)
