April 23, 2024: Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Union Farmers to 0 in the Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Scotch Plains-Fanwood moves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Raiders host Cranford (Cranford, NJ) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Friday, April 26. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 5-5.
In their next game, the Farmers play the Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 25. Union will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the game with a 5-6 record after their 6-2 league loss to Brearley (Kenilworth, NJ).
