April 17, 2024: Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 The Brearley Bears (Kenilworth, NJ) softball routed the host Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ), 9-1 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Bears (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ). The Minutemen go into the non-league bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Elizabeth was routed by Westfield (Westfield, NJ), 8-3, in a league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to New Providence for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 18. Scotch Plains-Fanwood will confront a Pioneers squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Summit (Summit, NJ). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-1.
