High Point Eagles (Beltsville, MD) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD), 11-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, High Point advances its record to 9-2 on the season. The Eagles host Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD) to battle the Mustangs in a Prince George's County 4A match on Thursday, April 24. The Mustangs come into the match with a record of 0-6. Bladensburg lost 8-2 in their recent league match against Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD)

The Spartans now have a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wise for a non-league match on Friday, April 25. Laurel will battle a Pumas squad coming off a 21-1 league loss to Bowie (Bowie, MD). The Pumas record now stands at 2-12.
