The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Parkdale Panthers (Riverdale, MD) and the visiting Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD), saw Parkdale's baseball team get by Laurel by a tally of 12-11.

The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against DuVal (Lanham, MD). The Tigers enter the Prince George's County 4A battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, DuVal was tipped by Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD), 15-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Spartans face the High Point Eagles (Beltsville, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A battle, on Monday, March 24. Laurel will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 18-0 league win over Suitland (Forestville, MD).
