In Wednesday's league test, the Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN), by a count of 9-2.

Next, the Red Devils meet the Hobart Brickies (Hobart, IN) in a Northwest Crossroads test, on Thursday, April 24. Lowell will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Brickies go into the test with a 4-4 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN).

The Wildcats (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Griffith (Griffith, IN). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 7-0 record. In their last test, Griffith held off Lake Station Edison (Lake Station, IN), 18-2, in a league test.
