The Rolling Meadows Mustangs softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Hoffman Estates Hawks to 0 in the Mustangs league win on Thursday.

The Mustangs now possess a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evanston for a non-league battle on Friday, April 24. Rolling Meadows will confront a Wildkits team coming off a 19-3 league loss to Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Wildkits record now stands at 1-12.

With the loss, Hoffman Estates moves to 1-13 on the season. The Hawks travel to Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL) to confront the Saxons in a Mid-Suburban East battle on Tuesday, April 28. The Saxons come into the battle with a record of 10-3.
