The Springville Red Devils triumphed over the visiting Payson Lions softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Red Devils meet the Cedar Valley Aviators (Eagle Mountain, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 24. Springville will attempt to upgrade on its 17-6 season record. The Aviators enter the challenge with a 11-10 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Weber (Pleasant View, UT).

The Lions (12-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgeline (Millville, UT). The Riverhawks enter the non-league challenge with a 15-7 record. In their last challenge, Ridgeline overcame Bear River (Garland, UT), 2-1, in a league challenge.
