The Payson Lions softball squad (Payson, UT), was routed 16-11 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Wasatch Wasps (Heber City, UT)

With the triumph, Wasatch improves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Wasps travel to Uintah (Vernal, UT) to face the Utes in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 18. The Utes enter the contest with a record of 6-2. Uintah lost 26-6 in their recent non-league contest against Salem Hills (Salem, UT)

The Lions now hold a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Syracuse for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 18. Payson will battle a Titans team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Mountain Crest (Hyrum, UT). The Titans record now stands at 2-5.
