April 24, 2025: Leonardtown, MD 20650 The Leonardtown Raiders baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Thomas Stone Cougars to 0 in the Raiders non-league win on Thursday.
The Raiders now hold a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calvert for a Southern Maryland test on Friday, April 25. Leonardtown will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-9.
With the defeat, Thomas Stone drops to 0-9 on the year. The Cougars host Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD) to play the Cavaliers in a Southern Maryland test on Wednesday, April 30.
