Pennsylvania High School Lacrosse - Canon-McMillan overwhelms Hempfield Area
April 24, 2025: Greensburg, PA 15601 Fans at Thursday's league test between the Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA) and the host Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA), witnessed Canon-McMillan's lacrosse squad achieve victory over Hempfield Area by a count of 14-9.
The Big Macs (4-2) will now prepare for their test against South Fayette (McDonald, PA). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 12-0 record. In their last test, South Fayette nipped Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA), 19-7, in a league test.
Next, the Spartans battle the Upper St. Clair Panthers (Upper St. Clair, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 test, on Tuesday, April 29. Hempfield Area will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Panthers enter the test with a 7-6 record after their 8-6 league loss to Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA).
