Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA) and the host Half Moon Bay Cougars (Half Moon Bay, CA), saw San Mateo's baseball squad knock off Half Moon Bay by a count of 12-3.

Coming up next, the Bearcats play the Gunn Titans (Palo Alto, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 27. San Mateo will attempt to move on its 12-10 season record. The Titans enter the battle with a 4-16 record after their 8-7 league loss to Mountain View (Mountain View, CA).
