Washington High School Softball - Lakewood gets by Lynden Christian
April 25, 2024: Arlington, WA 98223 The Lakewood Cougars got by the visiting Lynden Christian Lyncs softball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's league battle.
The Cougars (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA). The Wildcats go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Oak Harbor nudged Squalicum (Bellingham, WA), 17-4, in a league battle.
The Lyncs now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Sehome for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle on Saturday, April 27. Lynden Christian will meet a Mariners squad coming off a 17-5 league loss to Ferndale (Ferndale, WA). The Mariners record now stands at 6-9.
