The Scranton Knights baseball squad (Scranton, PA), was overwhelmed 12-2 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA)

With the triumph, Abington Heights moves its record to 11-2 on the season. The Comets host Valley View (Archbald, PA) to confront the Cougars in a Lackawanna 1 contest on Monday, April 28. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 4-9. Valley View won 6-1 in their recent non-league contest against Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA)

The Knights now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wallenpaupack Area for a Lackawanna 1 contest on Tuesday, April 29. Scranton will confront a Buckhorns squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV). The Buckhorns record now stands at 4-8.
