The Midview Middies baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Keystone Wildcats to 7 in the Middies non-league win on Saturday.

The Middies now own a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Elyria for a Southwestern test on Monday, April 27. Midview will clash with a Pioneers team coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Normandy (Parma, OH). The Pioneers record now stands at 4-9.

With the defeat, Keystone drops to 7-5 on the year. The Wildcats host Black River (Sullivan, OH) to clash with the Pirates in a Lorain County 8 test on Monday, April 27.
