The Palma Chieftains triumphed over the host Carmel Padres baseball squad by a score of 9-1 in Saturday's league outing.

Next up, the Chieftains encounter the Hollister Haybalers (Hollister, CA) in a PCAL - Gabilan outing, on Tuesday, April 29. Palma will attempt to advance on its 16-5 season record. The Haybalers enter the outing with a 13-7 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA).

The Padres (13-7) will now prepare for their outing against Monterey (Monterey, CA). The Dores enter the PCAL - Gabilan outing with a 7-14 record.
