The Carmel Padres baseball squad (Carmel, CA), 12-9 in Thursday's league contest with the host Hollister Haybalers (Hollister, CA)

With the triumph, Hollister moves its record to 8-5 on the season. The Haybalers travel to Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA) to confront the Pirates in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 5. The Pirates come into the contest with a record of 6-6. Piedmont Hills won 21-2 in their recent league contest against Del Mar (San Jose, CA)

The Padres now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salinas for a PCAL - Gabilan contest on Tuesday, April 8. Carmel will confront a Cowboys squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to St. Francis (Watsonville, CA). The Cowboys record now stands at 5-8.
